FEATURES AND BENEFITS
OVERVIEW
The Achilles 122 is a touring, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.
The tire offers first-rate summer weather traction. The tread design with the multi-sipe pattern and the summer tire compound work together to ensure excellent dry and wet weather traction. The multi-sipe design that channels water to the center rib's circumferential grooves actively prevents hydroplaning. While the model has superb summer weather traction, it is not recommended for use in winter weather and colder temperatures.
The tread pattern features a solid center rib that maintains its contact with the road at all times. This upgrades the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The tire's structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it, while the steering becomes swift and precise in its response to the driver's instructions. The better controllability is further improved with the four groove tread design. The four groove tread design enhances the model's maneuvering ability and power. It maintains constant road contact and provides additional biting edges during cornering and maneuvering to ensure exceptional driving safety.
The 122 sports a stiff tread pattern. The stiffened tread elements prevent tread flexing during the drive, which upgrades the braking ability and high speed performance. The stiff tread elements create friction at the moment of braking, which improves the braking power and shortens the braking distance significantly. The prevention of tread flexing also stabilizes the tire enough to allow it to perform to its highest capability.
