OVERVIEW

The Americus PS 2000 is a highway terrain， all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's trailer axle. This model also has some trailer sizes， which are manufactured for SPECIAL TRAILER USE ONLY and they should not be mounted on light trucks.

The model promotes great all weather traction. The tread design's ribbed pattern with the optimal siping detail enhances the tire's grip on the dry， wet and winter weather road surfaces. This allows the tire to safely perform throughout the year， guaranteeing a secure performing capability. The circumferential grooves help prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint， promoting a secure driving experience and increasing the wet and winter weather performing capability.

The tread design and the all season tire compound manage to ease the driving pressure off the tire. In this manner， the tire lowers its rolling resistance significantly. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the model， which determines how much energy the vehicle needs to keep the tires in motion. The lessened rolling resistance guarantees a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly performance by decreasing the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

The PS 2000 guarantees a lengthened tread life. The reduced rolling resistance greatly slows the tread wear rate down， while the ribbed pattern avoids irregular tread wear. The ribbed tread design and the tread's closed shoulder ribs equally distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The evenly dispersed driving forces actively resist uneven tread wear formations. The slower even tread wear extends the tire's usability and tread life.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires， various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased， the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertized represents the tire's overall diameter in inches， once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.
