OVERVIEW

The Firestone T819 is a highway terrain， all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on all axle positions.

The special tread design and the durable tire compound work together to increase the all weather traction. The aggressive tread's notched shoulder pattern and the groove walls' multiple biting edges increase the grip the tire has on the road surface in dry， wet and winter weather. The durable compound keeps the rubber flexibility in different temperatures， including winter weather. The zigzag circumferential grooves help prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from below the footprint and upgrade the wet and winter weather performance.

The tire promotes a longer lasting tread life. It utilizes its optimal tread design and the stronger tire compound to extend the tire's usability. The tread pattern's solid shoulder rib keeps the tire's road contact at all times and stabilizes the tread elements. As this tread element prevents tread flexing， the model is able to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the entire tread area. The wider and flat footprint also helps the equal balance of the forces of acceleration， cornering and braking. This combination prevents the formation of irregular tread wear across the tread area， extending the models service life. The special tire compound is wear-resistant， which decreases the tread wear rate significantly and lengthens the model's usability.

The model prevents damage to the tire's casing and tread. The durable internal structure's four steel belt structure avoids punctures and other damage from shortening the tire's service life， while the strengthened tread compound resists cuts， chipping， tearing and impacts to the tire's tread area. The improved tire compound also enables the tire to securely performance on various terrain surfaces， without allowing them to harm the tire's tread area. The tread's four-rib design with the zigzag groove shape prevents stone retention from damaging the tread and the casing. These grooves eject rocks stuck between the tread elements， before they can drill into the tread and cause the tire's downtime. This combination ensures a secure performance both on- and off-road.

The T819's reinforced internal structure features four strengthened steel belts that improve the model's durability. Thanks to these steel belts， the tire does not deform under the load and driving pressure affecting it. The maintained ideal tire shape， as a result， enables the tire to carry and withstand heavy loads with ease. This guarantees the tire's load durability as it maintains the tire's ideal shape throughout its performance. The ideal tire shape and the symmetric ribbed tread pattern manage to improve the tire's controllability with the better road and terrain surface contact. They increase the steering responsiveness and the driving stability by closely following the surface to improve the tire's response to the driver's instructions.
