OVERVIEW
The Pirelli Scorpion Winter (OE) is a performance and high performance， winter tire manufactured for SUVs and passenger vehicles. This is the original equipment tire of select vehicle models.
The combination of the tire compound and special siping detail of the tread pattern improve the winter weather traction， even on ice and snow-covered roads. The tread design grips the road firmly in all winter conditions， while the circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning with the advanced water and slush evacuations. The boosted road gripping and anti-hydroplaning ability improve the winter weather controllability.
The special new mold profile and the directional symmetric tread design， featuring modular block geometry and sipe layout， enhance the winter weather handling. They firmly grip the road surface and maintain constant road contact. This enhances the driving stability and the steering precision. As a result， the tire is stabilized against the driving pressure and the steering responsiveness to the driver's commands becomes quicker and more accurate， allowing the tire to be controlled with ease in all winter conditions.
