OVERVIEW

The Roadmaster RM185 is a highway terrain， all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's steer axle.

The tire guarantees a fuel conscious performance. The tread pattern and optimal tire compound improve the tire's traction and ease the driving pressure off its tread area. This reduces the rolling resistance， which is the pressure affecting the model that determines the amount of energy a vehicle needs to keep the tires in motion. The reduced rolling resistance decreases the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions， making the tire fuel efficient and environmentally friendly in its performance.

The model's tread design and all season compound also manage to increase the all weather traction. They boost the dry， wet and winter weather road gripping ability by working together throughout the tire's performance. The compound keeps the rubber flexibility in all conditions， while the ribbed tread design upgrades the tire's gripping ability even in colder temperatures. The tread's circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning. These grooves disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint and enhance the wet and winter weather performance.

The RM185 provides a lengthened tread life. The tread design's symmetric ribbed pattern evenly distributes the forces of acceleration， cornering and braking along the tread area. The equally spread out driving pressure avoids the formation of irregular wear along the tread area. The compound's durable wear-resistant rubber slows the tread wear rate down significantly. The slower even wear ensures an extended service life and usability.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires， various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased， the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertized represents the tire's overall diameter in inches， once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.
