OVERVIEW

The Roadmaster RM872 EM is a highway terrain， all season tire manufactured for commercial trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS， as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.

The tire promotes great traction in all weather. The tread pattern and the all season compound upgrade the model’s dry， wet and winter weather road grip. They ensure the tire’s road contact at all times， which enables the tire to maintain its optimal traction throughout the year. The symmetric pattern upgrades the tire’s year round grip on the road surface， while the compound keeps the tire’s rubber flexibility. The tire also actively resists hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from below the tire’s footprint and improve the wet and winter weather performance.

The model’s tread design and symmetric pattern improve its all weather traction， which eases the driving pressure off the tire. In this manner， the tire lowers its rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the tire， which determines the amount of energy the vehicle needs to keep the tires in motion. The reduced rolling resistance decreases the towing vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions， making the drive more fuel efficient and environmentally friendly.

The Roadmaster RM872 EM offers a longer lasting tread life. The lowered rolling resistance manages to significantly slow the tread wear rate down. On the other hand， the symmetric pattern’s even pressure distribution prevents irregular wear formations across the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration， cornering and braking lengthen the tread life and avoid irregular tread wear formations on the tire’s surface. The elongated tread life boosts the tire’s usability.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires， various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased， the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertized represents the tire's overall diameter in inches， once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.
